ASCO Dry Ice Packaging
ASCO’s dry ice production technology helps our customers to produce the exact amount of dry ice on-site and fill it automatically into transportation boxes for an unbroken cold chain. The video below presents a compact pellet bagging machine for automated bagging of dry ice pellets. ESL can also offer additional dry ice packaging solutions including a wrapping machine for dry ice slices, a bucket filling system and a passive saw for dry ice slices.
ASCO PELLETS BAGGING MACHINE: PBM 100
A simple alternative for bagging dry ice pellets. The ASCO Pellets Bagging Machine: PBM 100 is easy to maintain and self-explanatory in its application. The fast format change significantly reduces downtime which guarantees an efficient work flow. The capacity of this machine is individually adjustable per bag. The bagging is done manually with the relevant measuring shovels.

ASCO DRY ICE PELLETS REPACKING
We can offer a handy distribution concept for dry ice pellets. With the help of this system, dry ice pellets can be transferred into smaller packages with ease.
ASCO BUCKET FILLING SYSTEM FOR DRY ICE PELLETS
A smart bucket filling system for dry ice pellets. This machine helps with packaging of the pellets as the dry ice pellets can be added (e.g. by weight) into buckets or boxes directly from the pelletisers.
ASCO PASSIVE SAW FOR DRY ICE SLICES
The ASCO Passive Saw divides dry ice blocks into two or three sections with a thickness up to 25mm.
This diversity allows for the production of smaller, non-standard, high-quality block sizes. While the production cycle stays the same, the block output doubles or triples while the block quality is retained and no extra time is needed.
Handling the ASCO Passive Saw is simple, safe and fast without influencing the existing production process in any way. This massively increases the flexibility of any dry ice production.
ASCO WRAPPING MACHINE APM50 FOR DRY ICE SLICES
The ASCO Wrapping Machine APM50 for Dry Ice Slices is specifically designed for wrapping dry ice slices and/or blocks up to 210mm x 125mm and with a thickness of 20 – 22mm.
Wrapped dry ice slices/blocks can be used in airline catering and food cooling/transporting applications.
